How in the world do I remove these. Is there something I am missing. I need to take off the inner plastic piece in the hatch area on my 2 door to fix a small developing rust hole. Thanks.

There is a small circular plug at the bottom, remove to get access to the torx bolt, T55 or 60 iirc.

I found the tork bolt and I just cant get it to budge. I PB blasted it and wrenched on it but cant get it to budge. It is not rusty at all so I dont get why it wont come out.

when i removed mine mine didn't have a plastic cover over it or anything, but it was hard to remove. pb blast it and give it a minute and keep trying. I had to really use my all to get it loose.

Breaker bar and a few taps with a hammer to break them loose might work. Just be careful not to hit it too hard.
