Hey y'all,

I am looking to replace my engine as it seems to have seen its last days. I am looking at Autozone and there are three on there. Wondering what the best long blocks to buy are.

1.) Surefire Remanufactured Long Block
2.) Tri Star Long Block Engine
3.) Dahmer Powertrain Remanufactured Long Block

Let me know your thoughts.

my son and I bought ATK remanufactured 4.0 engines a few years ago. We bought directly through ATK at a good price. I think it was complete engine (long block) for around $1,700 back then. Both engines have been running real nice so we have had good experience with these. If you google ATK they only show their 4.6 Jeep stroker engines for around $3,000.
