As some of you may have read, i just picked up an 88 Comanche 2wd. It has 210k miles on it and uses some oil. Its also has the Peugout tranny. (which actually feels really solid) Im looking for a reman 4.0 for the Jeep to make it run like new again. Can anyone recommend a company that sells reman engines and are willing to ship them? Hopefully i can find one for under 1500 bucks. That would be great.

Down the road it will get an AX-15 so ill be looking for one of those also.

I have a AX15 from a 1990 2wd XJ in storage for $50. Complete with shifter, boot, clutch assembly, and flywheel. Flywheel will need a mild resurfacing due to light surface rust. Has not been sitting in the weather, stored inside since it was pulled. I am in middle TN if you are interested.

That would be cool but alot more work i do believe. different wiring etc. thank you for helping tho. that is in the price range i need.
