Ive replaced the Crank PS and Cam PS, the gauges are doing silly chit ie; speedo on idle and in park going from 0 to 100 and back & oil pressure gauge maxxed out while driving, upon scanning the PCM is commonly the culprit on three occasions. Pulled the PCM off the firewall and will run decent but the CEL will flash, idle will surge and then the CEL will disappear and idel smooth. Something is amiss and I'm guessing the PCM is a mess.

I'd definitely read the CEL codes and do a thorough grounds cleaning, connector to the instrument cluster cleaning and check for pinched or chaffed wires or bad connectors before loading a $200+ part into the parts cannon!

Have you done the prerequisite grounds and connector cleaning?? The oil pressure gauge will peg out if grounded fully - usually the wire got chaffed.

There aren't any remans that are reliable. However I did stumble across some factory stuff from Cardone last night about troubleshooting PCM issues. If you look up an ECM, NOT a pcm, on rockauto, click the cardone ones, ($200 ish vs 800 for Mopar remans) you will see a link for these bulletins . Good read.
