Default Relay clicks when brake pedal is pushed?

I just replaced the turn signal/hazard flasher relay as my old one crapped out. I had pulled the turn signal indicator switch from the steering column and reinstalled it (trying to diagnose the problem area). Well now when I press my brake pedal I can hear a relay clicking like the one the clicks when the turn signal is on. All my lights work as they should but this is going to annoy the hell out of me. Any ideas or solutions?

I have the same issue, but mine clicks only after my front brakes lock up on me. The only way it will go away is if i slam on the brakes.

Possibly the brake switch? They click sometimes.

The sound is coming from the same area that the clicks come from when the blinkers are on. It's in the steering column/lower dash area and it's two clicks whenever you press the brake pedal.

Just wondering if anyone found what was causing this issue? I've just replaced my flasher relay and when I press the brake pedal I can hear the relay click twice. All lights are working fine though.

I have that. It's the switch.

could be a combination of the switch and/or the safety disengaging that lets you take it out of park when you hit the brake, assuming you have an auto of course.
