haha well decided against the stroker and gonna regear.
but what to regear to? 4.11 or 4.56?
i dont plan on going bigger than 32's...maybe 33's
and does anyone know if ill have to buy new carriers for my axles to regear?
and where is a good place to buy a ring/pinion?

Copy and paste
I'm Coping & Pasting my answer from your other tread!
With 32.s and maybe even the 33.s Id go with the 4.10's, it will be better on the Highway and they are a lot stronger then the 4.88's, What are you running now? I have 4.56 with detroit locker in the rear in my CJ-7 and would rather have the 4.10's sometimes (9" Ford & Standerd Trans).
I vote for the 4.10 with a Detroit or ARB Locker.
Then if you need more power, well you know now you have an reason to go after the motor!

Ive found 2 factory 4.10 8.25's behind 2wd 5 spd cherokees...... $100 ea
never had payed any attention to the 2wd rears and just happened to look up under one one day and there was the first...... found the other a couple weeks later.
For my front 4.10s I found a used wrangler dana 30 with factory 4.10s for $75 and had that carrier and gears swapped into my diff.
Seems I see a lot of 4.10 wrangler axles for sale cheap from people upgrading to full size etc..... most XJ guys over look them since they are leaf spring vs coil and wont bolt in.

Sweet, thanks for the chart, that helps.
Got one of those for 4.11's so I can see the difference?
