Hello All,
Going from 3.5" RE Flex Kit to the long arm 5.5"RE kit. I'm currently getting parts to complete the transformation. Next item on my list is the SYE. Does anyone know if the Rubicon Express SYE Kit: Rubicon Express NP231 Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit - RE1811 will fit my 2000 XJ. I am getting mixed results depending on the website. Quadratec does not list it as an option for my XJ while 4Wheel Drive parts website says it fits. I thought since its for a NP231 transfer case it will fit with no issues. Any feedback will be much appreciated.

If you have a 231 tcase then a 231 SYE will fit. Driveshaft I would recommend Adams as I've had good luck with them, and shocks I used with 5.5" rubicon express springs are 24-185943 bilsteins front and 33-151663 bilsteins rear. I have 35" Goodyear mtrs on my Cherokee and have been happy with the performance.

Also, if you haven't yet I would suggest getting the rubicon express track bar brace that goes with their trackbar bracket and get a steering box brace of some sort. It will greatly decrease the stress on the front of the frame.

@SatiricalHen Thanks for your feedback. I went with the RE6300 Extreme Kit: https://www.morris4x4center.com/extr...ub-re6300.html
I do have a XJ Steering Box Brace will be also be looking into the steering brace from rail to rail. I went ahead and got the RE SYE so that's one less item off the list.
Good to hear that Bilstein shocks ride smoothly. Did you ever consider the adjustable socks from Fox Racing ?

There is another guy in the club I wheel with and he has the same springs, control arms, and everything but has fox shocks and he says his rides worse than mine and he can't keep up flying down trails.Originally Posted by puredrive
