i got a buddy who just bought a repo 1994 grand cherokee. i was wondering if the hitch off of that jeep would bolt right up to my 96 cherokee? or do i need my welder, grinder and black rattle can paint!!

 

It is not a direct bolt on sorry, but with some persuasion anything could fit. just don't ruin the integrity of it or it will just fail on ya.

 

Depends on which hitch you have. For example, the Valley Hitch website http://www.valleyindustries.com/ApplicationLookup.aspx lists different part numbers for Class II hitches that fit the Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee but the same part number for Class III hitches.

 

i am not sure what it is for a hitch the grand is in about 2 feet of snow. he only paid 300$ for it and he said i can take what i want for extras off it for little or nothing. its just going to sit in his snowbank. i guess i am just going to have to pull it off and try to make it fit?
