rearend help
Can someone tell me the easiest way to replace there rear end with a lock one. and how to rebuild a rear end. It is a 1987 jeep cherokee.

Ok, you have a 1987 Cherokee. What rear axle does it have? The Dana 44 or Dana 35? Some of the 44s came with limited slip from the factory, I don't remember what the tag code is that signifies that though.
To put a locker on the rear, you first have to identify what you have, then find a locker for sale. Lockrite, ARB, and Detroit Locker all make units for the Dana 44 and Dana 35. Although if you have the turdy-five you may want to consider replacing it with a 44 or later (97+) Chrysler 8.25, the turdy-five isn't a bad stock axle but it's not worth putting money into it.
