Default Rearend?

I am getting ready to purchase and instal a Rustys 3 inch on my jeep. One of the questions it asked before I can order it is what type of rearend my jeep has. I am definately new in the jeep world and I am not sure which one it is. I looked for a stamp or a tag but I couldn't find one. Im not sure how to figure this out. Is there anything I can look for. My jeep is a 2001 jeep cherokee classic 4x4 4.0. Any help would be appriciated. thanks

Man, thanks guys. Looking at the image in the post, i thinking it is 8.25, but I can't be 100 percent sure right now. I looked earlier today. I'm going to print this out and look tommorow when I have some daylight to be sure. I will post which one it definately is as soon as I check tommorow. Thanks for all the help!

The Dana 35 ws the base axle from 84 all the way through 01. The Dana 44 was the option during the 87-89 model run and the Chrysler 8.25 was the option from 91-01. The 27 spline 8.25 was used 91-96 and the 29 spline 8.25 was used from 97-01.
