I measured my rear wiper blade yesterday, iirc it is 12" or less. However, the parts places, even Rock Auto, list the blade as 13". Seems like an extra 0.5" on either end will clear, but which is correct?

That's why I ordered three, actually another one for another car too, so like $15 for four wipers. I think that's pretty good. I guess we'll see if they're good or just like dragging a wet mop across the windshield. I'm a big fan of RainX water repellent, so even if it was just an okay wiper I'd be okay with it.

Actually that first one is a little helpful. If the tube on the back is just rubber hose going into a nipple in the hard plastic part, then I can take the plastic tube bit out (drill out if I must) and replace it with a metal tube of the same OD from a hobby store. I do already have a piece of brass tube somewhere that fits in the ID of the plastic tube, but never used it.

One concern I had is that I've heard the new part doesn't come with a new seal, and mine is pretty dry rotted and bad looking. I highly doubt it'll come out in one piece.

Spray it with some Liquid Wrench brand Silicone Spray (green can, plastic safe) before you take it off. After you get it off, keep it wet with that stuff until you reinstall it.
