Where'd you get the part? Or what do you call the part, more specifically? (the part to replace the broken nipple). Is it the entire wiper arm? I have this problem on my 90' cherokee but gave up trying to solve it

I would like to know the part# or where to get the nipple too. Mine broke off last week.

hey kinda an old thread but I took the inside of a bic pen, cut off the end with no ink in it,cut off the very tip of it cuz it is sealed. then I took a drill bit one size bigger than the hole where my nipple used to be,be carefull not to go to deep.(that's what she said). now you can add a touch of superglue to hold it in place. connect hose which fits snug on new "nipple". I noticed that when the arm moves to wipe window it would work out my nipple. So I added a small gob of silicone and now its awesome again!

Problem with my rear washer (aside from a bad pump which I have not had time to replace yet) is that the plastic fitting in the hatch between the larger fluid hose and the smaller one that goes to the wiper arm broke apart. I have not seen this part listed anywhere. I think there might be a vacuum line reducer that will work in the "Help!" line of parts, maybe something like this:

Actually the bezel is OK. It's been a while now since I've been in there but as I recall there's a plastic hose adapter. It connects the fluid hose from the front of the car to the smaller diameter hose that goes into the bezel. (The bezel in your photo looks like it may have a large diameter connector in the back. If that's the case maybe that's the best way to go, just hook the fluid hose up directly to it.)

Guess I'll have to get in there and double-check it.

While we're on the subject, how do you guys keep your nipple a from getting raw in the heat?

Is the replacement of the bezel accomplished from the outside of the hatch? Unbolt the wiper arm, pull the broken part off, replace with new?

If a '96 is anything like an '00 yeah.
Whole thing should take you 10 minutes.

Since about 2002 I've been trying to figure out how to fabricobble/engineenerd a solution to this, and that is all I had to do? Hell, I spent more time thinking about it today that the fix takes.

There are couple work arounds out there. I think one guy took a Bic Pen, the part that holds the ink, cut off a section, and glued it in.
I am under the impression that when I replaced the one on my '00 that I got the last one on the Eastern Seaboard.
Through my guys at the Jeep dealership and I had to pay shipping. Me pay shipping? LOL.
And '96 and down, which seem to be all over the place, are different then '97 and up.
So my idea if and when this one breaks assuming I can't get another one is this.
On the inside of the Jeep detach the washer hose from the inside of the bezel.
Drill out where the nipple is big enough for the washer hose.
Get a connector and attach enough line to reach from inside the hatch to run all the way up the wiper to the little nozzle.
Figure a little black RTV to seal up around where the hose goes in and comes out of the bezel and with a little luck be good to go.
