I just got a new windshield installed and they mounted the the rear view mirror too low. Is there a secret to getting those mounting tab things off? I tried heating it up with a hair dryer and using a paint scaper and the thing wouldnt budge.

 

If it were me, I would make the glass company make it right! Dont risk scratching or breaking your new glass!
