Rear Tail lights
I just sent my 97 cherokee to my Granddaughter in Washington and she is having 2 new problems. The first is the tail and 3rd brake lights are staying on after she has driven the vehicle for a while. 2nd the auxiliary fan is also staying on after she stops and truns th jeep off.
Any help from the group will be greatly appreciated.

The brake lights are illuminated by a switch that rides on the plunger at the top of the brake pedal. It's not unheard of for these to get dirty and stick. I have no idea what a new one costs or if it'd be worth trying to refurbish.
As for the electric fan its possible the relay is sticking open. You'll find it in the power distribution center near the passenger fender under the hood.
