Default Rear soft line

Hey everyone. I was at napa looking at getting a rear brake line from a tj, as it was the only one they seem to be able to get. Its going to take a few days to get here and they make you pay first so I wanted to make sure that a rear brake line for a tj, will fit in a 89 xj, with a 8.25 out of a 98 xj? Any help appreciated, thanks

The TJ line will fit your 89. as long as the little brake block thing on your rear axle is the same (which I am like 97% sure it is.) I put the TJ line in my 88, and it's just a few inches longer (good if you have a lift.) Real easy to put in, as well. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

Another option is a 96 dakota rear line. I think it's 3" longer than the stock one

The stock 89 xj one is 14 inches, and the tk one is 19 inches. 5 inches longer seems to be the way to go. Spose ill go order it, thanks for the info ill get back to everyone about how it goes

I've been using YJ hoses, longer than XJ and still bolts in.
