I took the left rear out of my "donor" to replace my daily driver's that was shattered by a six-point buck committing hari kari into my left rear quarter. Just search it on here for plenty of instruction and pics but i just started prying mine out in a corner with a couple flat edges (used a few butter knives too). If i remember correctly, I started in the top corner closest to the front and I worked from the inside. Use even steady pressure and just go slow. Have somebody outside to support it so it doesn't fall out when it finally lets go. There is no sealant holding it in...just pressure. Btw, mine is a '99. Be careful not to tear the gasket and you can reuse it fine.
