Hi, just removed my rear shocks from my 97 xj. Easy enough until both top bolts snapped off. Now what can I do??? Any help would be great. This forum is really good lots of nice *** rigs. Thanks

There are lots of threads on this if you do a quick search, because it's such a common problem. But the jest of it is you can do one of following:
1. Drill out the old bolts and tap new threads in. (this is what I did on three of four)
2. Knock the welded nuts out with a punch and fish nuts in to replace them. (I did this on one)
3. Knock the welded nuts out with a punch and access the area from the top by cutting through the floor to make using nuts easier. (to me this would be a last resort)
