Rear Shock Bolt replacement...
No, I am not asking how! Been there, done that...
But, I for the life of me can't remember the size of that bolt and nut. Anyone help me out with which bolt to buy?
I am doing the swap my lift from one XJ to the new one on the 26th and I just know that I will snap these. I want to already have the replacement bolts handy when they do snap since this is my only working transportation and will not be able to "just run" to the store...
Thanks!
FYI, any chance on making a replacement bolt thread and making it sticky?

When mine broke, I'm pretty sure I used 5/16" hardware to replace the broken bolts. Not 100% positive, but it doesn't matter since you'll have to do some fabrication anyway. Also, you don't need the shocks for a short trip. I drove for 3 days with no rear shocks and riding on my saggy leaf springs with no ill effects. So you should be fine going around the corner to the hardware store if necessary.
