rear shock ?

ok i did my 3inch lift yesterday for the rear i did 3inch blocks... i need shocks in the rear i got my old ones to hook back up but super stiff i have heard of s10 rears working but does it matter what year and if it is 4x4 or not?

dont know about s10 shocks but if you can weld at all you could always cut off the stock low hangin shockmounts and re mount them higher up on the axle tube then if you off road you dont catch em on rocks

or, if you use the rear sway bar brackets (which you dont need) and weld them to the body where the shocks mount, you gain 1" of length and make it 100 times easier to change the shocks. I used Monroe F150 shocks on the rear of mine but cant remember the year
