Default rear shackles.

OK. I've pb blasted, (a whole can nearly) and sweated and banged and to no avail on these darn rear shackles. Anyone have any ideas on breaking these bolts loose on these things? If I can't soon figure out how to break em loose I'm just gonna burn em off tomorrow.

If it's seized to the sleeve you are not gonna get that bolt out, i ended up having to drill out the bushing and pull the whole bolt/sleeve out with a come-along on the trailer hitch when i did the shackles on my old jimmy.

i got a pipe about 5 feet long and put it on a breaker bar, and it would just break the sockets lmao. what i ended up doing was cutting them off, i got extra bolts for that though in my garage if you need them, they are hard to find, mopar dealers has them though.

just did this 2 days ago. we had to heat up the nut. and then impact them off. it took the socket, a knuckle, and an extension in order to get the impact to work. but they came off like butter. and it helps to have a buddy help some1 to get the impact ready to slip on and the other to hold the other side with a wrench and to heat it up.

I have new bolts that came with the shackles so I might just torch them off might be the easiest thing to do.
