Default Rear Seatbelt bolt is FRIED!

Okay, here's my question? I bought the jeep and the PO's dog has chewed through the rear pass seat belt. I have worked for hours with a 4 ft. breaker bar and a 50 torx socket to no avail. I had a friend of mine put 150 Lbs worth of impact to it and we screwed his Torx bit. Head is now stripped out.
My thought-
Can i drill it out and sink a grade 8 through the same hole and attach a new nut with loc-tite?
I have tried heat and PB to no avail.
EZ-Out will not happen.
Any more ideas?
Thanks all....

Did you try heat and PB from underneath directly on the threads (and where it is likely siezed)?

EvilDrew, Yeah...I did. Won't budge and there is no way that a pair of vise grips are going to do any damage.
There is a bracket that forms the nut on the frame rail, but I'd hate to cut into that.
If i can drill it out to a bigger hole and drop a grade 8 through it, would it be strong enough to hold the seat belt safely and in case of an accident?
I'm starting to get annoyed!
Thanks

Our seatbelt bolts are metric grade 10.9 - not standard.

You don't want to heat the bolt itself.

Metal expands, the idea is to expand the metal the bolt runs through.

I have had issues with seized bolts before, and have just cut the heads off and drilled for new hardware.

Yep, drill it out

dont use too big of a bit, start with a small one (less metal to remove)

then get progressively bigger, until you can get something wedged in there to begin turning it.

also, yeah, grind the head off the bolt.

might have to re-tap, but hey, junkyards have lots o those for chrysler products...

just a thought.

Okay. Drilled it out. Went smoother than I thought. Went to the parts house and grabbed a 13/16 Grade 8 1.5" and lock nuts and Loc-tite.
Went back together and seems to be working fine. Will keep tabs on it and keep updated as to what happens.
