Default Rear Passenger Window Motor?

I a have tricky rear window that we have been leaving alone as it was only working intermittently. My wife forgot about it and rolled it half way down. I pulled the panel and checked the switch on the rear driver's door and it worked both directions. I put it back on the passenger door and it rolled down but not up. I then lost the ability to unlock with the power locks but it would then lock. I pulled the fuse in the number 15 position and reinstalled after inspection. All doors unlocked and I was able to operate locks in both directions. At this point the window rolled the remainder of the way down but not up. The multimeter shows a couple (3-5) volts static on the connection going from switch to motor (note that this is a different connection than at the switch). It switches polarity based on reversing the leads. Voltage from the switch side drops to zero when the switch is operated in either direction. I do not see any breaks or frays and all connections are clean and dry. I'm stumped. Rain's moving in so I'd like to at least get it rolled up even if I have to worry about a long term fix later.

TIA for anyone who can provide diagnosis and suggestions.
