Question Rear Mud Flaps Needed

Anybody have any ideas about rear mud flaps on a '99 XJ? I have 5" of lift and run 32's and have passed inspection here in NJ before (and NJ is pretty strict with everything) But now they fail me for being too high, and they have a bunch of requirements including rear mud flaps which have to be 22 1/2 degrees from center of axle hub (or something like that). The guy at the High-rise inspection station said it just used to be 1/2 way down the tire, but NJ has stiffened their rules up.

Any thoughts on set ups, or has anybody dealt with this in NJ before. I did a search, and much of it was just ranting.

Thanks.

Rocky Road Outfitters has a set of quick release brackets, just have to add the actual flare material.

Cheap too.

thanks, Overland. I had seen those brackets and they look pretty nice. It is all really just a big PIA. For years they never had an issue with the same set up and now they give me a hard time.

Has anybody on this forum ever used these Rocky Road Outfitters brackets before? It would be great to see pictures of your set up. www.summitoffroad.com
