I know RMS can be misdiagnosed and hate to beat a dead horse, but... oil accumulates on the bottom of the starter, then drips down the bell housing edge to the lowest point and lets a few drops go every time I park.

Oil filter adapter is definitely not leaking, nor is the oil pressure sender, the distributor or valve cover. Is the only thing left the RMS?

easiest possible fix is to replace oil pan gasket with the blue fel-pro and seal up the corners at the back round sections with rtv as directed. you have to disconnect front shocks and raise body/drop axle as far as it will go to clear pan but the new gaskets with holding clips are very easy to work. the bottom half of the rear main comes out with the bearing cap but I don't know how easy it is to push the top half around the crank shaft without a lot of dis-assembly. the books say put a blob of rtv at the corners of the bearing cap where the seal sits and then reassemble. if you do all that it should stop most if not all of your leakage its probably not worth the effort to replace upper half of the seal for whatever still leaks after you do all of the above
