Default Rear main seal leak

I know there is plenty of threads out there about this but I just want to know who much it would cost to get done at a shop. Don't really wanna deal with it

Figure mininmum 2X$ in parts, Plus 6-8 hours shop labor rate. $500 or so

Are you absolutely certain, without a doubt, that the engine oil leak is coming from the rear main oil seal ?

As you probably know, the 4.0 L. engine was prone to leak engine oil from the oil filter mounting/adapter casting which is bolted to the right hand side of the engine block.

I mention this to you since it is quite easy to mistake the oil filter adapter leak for a rear main oil seal leak since the oil from the adapter housing finds it's way down the side of the block, past the starter motor and on to the the oil pad directly below the rear main oil seal location.

You should hope for an oil filter adapter housing leak. I might add. I good Jeep mechanic can replace the O-rings in as little as 1/2 to 3/4 hours time.

yea ive already replaced that with the hope of that was it

I think my main seal is leaking oh well im puttin in a clutch so il do it then
