rear main seal

i have a 92 cherokee sport. i was wondering if the rear main on it is a 2 piece or 1 piece?

if you have a 4.0 it's a 2 piece.

2 piece. All you gotta do is drop the oil pan.

alright thanks guys. i was just making sure before i started taking things apart and buying new seals and gaskets.

the RMS is pretty easy to change, the pan gasket can be a pain. just remember permatex is your friend!!! when I did mine it was so much fun I did it twice!!!

so you used permatex on your pan gasket? first or second time? or both?
