My 96 xj blew a rear main seal and i called some parts stores to see if it was a 2 piece or a 1 piece and their all telling me different. I believe its a one piece but i just want to be sure before i pull the transmission out just to find out i was wrong lol does anybody know for sure if it is a one piece or a 2?

 

I think they make both. i know for a fact they make a two piece, as ive installed 2 piece seals in 4.0's
and i think the aftermarket may have come out with a 1 piece to try to eliminate this common problem
