Default Rear lower quarter panel

I was playing around with the idea of trimming my fenders for better clearance on my 98 cherokee, i pulled off the rear flares and was working on the bumperettes that cover the rear quarters. I pulled the passenger side one to find afew small rust spots nothing i didnt expect however when i got to the drivers side it was completely rusted through im surprised the bumperette was still attached anyways im trying to get some ideas on to what i can do. im sure theres no replacement parts for the rear quarter but who knows im hoping someone has a idea i can use.

thanks
