OK so I'm putting a new/used rear leaf in tomorrow. Since it is so much more curved than an installed one it does'nt span the distance from bolt hole to bolt hole. What is the best method to install these and get it to flatten out enough to get in place? Attach at one end then start raising the axle so it begins moving towards the other end? If so which end is best first? It's going to be 42 and 30 mph wind tomorrow so the less time I'm out there pondering options the better! Anyone have a link to a previous detailed thread on this? Thanks

^theres one link, now keep in mind i had access to a hoist when i did mine but i installed the front bolt first then lowered the vehicle down until it was close than used a prybar or something to line the hole in the shackle then put the bolt in.
good luck, i know it sucks workin in the cold/wind i should really work on mine tomorrow but this damn weather is putting a damper on that.

Success! Man I hate Jeeps!
I tried it the way the manual and the links provided suggested but just could'nt get that front bolt to go in once the leaf was attached on the axle so had to just put the front bolt in first before anything. Thanks all
