Rear Dome Light Repair? Need lots of Help.
The rear dome light has never worked with opening the hatch. I have read that this is a pretty common problem where the switch in there burns up. And sure enough when I tore mine apart it was also burnt and melted.
I have read that people will put rocker switches in place of the old one. I am no electrician, and I do not know what a rocker switch is or how I would put it in place of the old one.
All help is appreciated.

Anyone know how to repair the switch in the rear dome light, or a link to purchase a new replacement or upgrade with the same functionality? I've exhausted all the usual sources, and the ones I see listed on eBay all look like they have the same burnt-out switch.
