Default Rear differential question

Guys, I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, but I need to know tomorrow morning so I can make a trip to the parts store. Rear pinion seal is leaking. I want to replace the cover gasket also. I know the parts stores aren't usually all knowing any more.

How do I know which rear axle is in my XJ? It's a '98 Classic, auto, 4.0. Is it the Mopar 8.25?

Thanks.

If it has ABS, I believe it would be a Dana 35.

Theres a sticker on the axle that should tell you. I found mine by accident just checking things out. Was on the passenger side facing down.

No sticker. No ABS. Ask and ye shall receive. I had crawled under to diagnose where the spewing was coming from and then to clean the mess before repairing. The gear oil flung everywhere from the area of the yoke was pretty much a dead giveaway. The question came up when I started hunting parts.

Thanks for the input. Looks like my hunch about the Chrysler was right.
