I recently got a 1998 Jeep Cherokee. I can't figure out why the rear push-on/push-off cargo light wont work, have done all the typical problem solvers, and I have 3 of the light housings and innards. I'm wondering if there is a hidden fuse somewhere other than the front passenger floor/side? None of the fuses in there say cargo or dome. And none of the ones in the engine compartment say that either. Sooooo Stumped!!!

 

Check wiring, see if the light bulb is burnt out, see if there is an internal ground that is messed up.
