lol no a magnet aint gonna work. the rest of the bolt is still in the nut but the head of the bolt snapped off from the rest of the bolt, so now the rest of the bolt is still in the jeep but the head of the bolt is laying on the ground.

OH! I miss understood

If there's any bit of a stub vice grips, otherwise I'd take a drill to it...

yeah no stub of it left it twisted off pretty much flush, but i really dont wanna drill cause id like to reuse that hole with out having to tap it since i dont have a tap and die set. my next guess is PB blast the $hit out of it for the next 5 days or so then drill and try to use and extractor maybe take a punch to it to try to break the rust free. i dont have much for heat except for a lil propane torch

Try to drill it in the center of the stud smaller bit than the stud and then try to cave the stud in you might have to tap the hole when done but it's some thing to try and it should not mess the hole up that bad good luck

We are talking one of the four mounting bolts for the bumper mounting brackets, right?

I just got done upgrading my rear axle and all four of the welds broke on all four of the bolts. You can get to them from the other side, but it is a tight fit between the shackle and also the other side is recessed.

For me I just knocked out the other for with an air chisel and got bigger bolts, nuts and lock washers, and even drilled out some scrap steel to place behind the bolts between the bolts.

Just a thought if we are talking about those bolts.
