I have a quick question.. I did my rear brakes a few months ago, but about a week ago the left rear drum started making a humming sound when im coming to a stop. I havnt opened it up yet, but i know its getting alot hotter than it should be. Im thinking something could be stuck, but i've also been told that the adjuster could be not working correctly. The parking break also wont hold my jeep if i put it in reverse, but it will if its in drive. I dunno if that information will help, but it couldnt hurt to say. Any information would be appreciated, thanks guys!

it's normal for the ebrake to not hold tight in reverse. but it should hold somewhat.
that humming could be from a broken spring or a spring that slipped off.
it is possible the adjuster is seized. i always take it apart and use anti-seize on them when i do the brakes.
it is also possible that wheel bearing is shot... possibly.
