Last week I spun my waggy in the rain and hit a curb with the right rear wheel bending the axle shaft. I have replace the shaft but I think the whole axle is off kilter 1/2-3/4 of an in to the left side.
Has anyone dealt with this? Can I just put new u-bolts on and go on with life?

Cheaper and easier to go get a complete axel at the Junkyard and swap the whole thing. Could be bent or just just twisted off the spring perch. Be agood idea to do a very thorough inspection off your axel before you spend any money fixing it. Especially if it is a D35, If it is bent look for a D44 or C8.25 out of any year XJ. Gearing must match yours.
