Naw man you dont have to pull the cover to find out... The 8.25 has a lip on the bottom of the pumpkin:

If not... D35. For LSD just jack it up and spin the tire like i said

Also, ALL Cherokees came with a Dana 30 up front.

Please excuse the "wet look". The fill plug was leaking when I first bought it so topped it off and replaced the plug but, I haven't gotten around to cleaning off the cover yet.

Did you say they all have the wet look? Mine must be empty then.

But no worries.. I have the "rust look" covered! And pretty sure its a 35 too!
