The front is a D30 for sure.
As for the rear, the D35 and Chrysler 8.25 look almost identical and both even have the rubber fill plug but, mine has a long metal tab on a cover bolt on the bottom left corner. The pictures I found on this page....
http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...and_Ratios.htm
would indicate that it's a D35.?
I also remember reading somewhere that some D35's are open diff's and some are limited slip.
I guess I'm just going to have to pull the cover to find out for sure.
Naw man you dont have to pull the cover to find out... The 8.25 has a lip on the bottom of the pumpkin:Which rear axle do I have?-dlrer.png If not... D35. For LSD just jack it up and spin the tire like i said

Post the picture you took of the rear axle.

Also, ALL Cherokees came with a Dana 30 up front.

Post a pic of your rear axle. You'll get 5 pages of people confirming which one it is for you.

Please excuse the "wet look". The fill plug was leaking when I first bought it so topped it off and replaced the plug but, I haven't gotten around to cleaning off the cover yet.

35. Pow.

Don't worry. Every Dana 35 on the face of the planet has the "wet look".

Default wet look?

Did you say they all have the wet look? Mine must be empty then. But no worries.. I have the "rust look" covered! And pretty sure its a 35 too!

If that question was directed toward me, then I dunno. All I can hear are my tires because I'm riding on these...........

.....and they are LOUD!
They were already on it when I bought it though, so I'm not complaining.
