The Driver side Caliper the brake line is at the bottom
The Passenger side the brake line is at top of caliper..
Which one is set up wrong are caliper marked Left and Right??
Sorry for stupid question but I have been looking online and am unable to find the answer

Easiest way to check is to look for the bleed screw, that should be towards the top of the caliper. It might have a little rubber cover on it.

Welcome to the Cherokee Forum!

X2 Usually the hose and always the bleed screw are at the top. Its not a stupid question if you search first, just a simple one.

Where in Snohomish county are you neighbor? I've seen 3 or 4 other newbies within a stones through of me in the last couple days.

If the drivers side caliper has the bleed screw at the bottom, then it's a passenger side caliper fitted upside down.

Oh yeah, I grew up around there, more towards Silvana though. I remember when there was a strip club in the late 80's where the rite aid is now. It was also a single lane road in all directions back then too...

Chinese parts maybe...
Good Luck!
I put a rebuilt master cylinder on my '01 XJ. In driving 350 or so miles in about 10 days, the brakes were working perfectly. Last night, my wife took the Jeep to do some shopping. At the first stop sign, the brake pedal went to the floor. She got it stopped in the middle of the intersection. Lucky no traffic was going thru at the same time! I got the Jeep home and took apart the master cylinder. The rear lip seal had cracked and separated from its base about 1/3 of an inch. I wouldn't have thought that was possible if I hadn't seen it. I went to the parts store where I bought the part, and they were as pissed as I was. They told me the rebuilder was A1 Cardone in PA. Beware!
