READ CAREFULLY>need pics of your xj with 35s.
I have 4.5 lift on my xj, i am re gearing and gonna run 36inch tsls. i need pics of your xjs with lifts up to 4.5 with 35s and what youve done for articulation. i was thinking longer shocks, and extend bumpstops to let it flex right up to tire touching i know there guys running 35s with 4inches of lift out there....lemme see some pics please dont post ones with 33s or 32s or 8 inches with 33s etc i just want to see some 4.5s with 35s.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

You can see pics of rigs with 4.5" and 35's here..
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/xj-lift-tire-setup-thread-260/
Don't post threads asking for pics of lift and tire combos until you look through the thread we already have. On the first page of that thread there are atleast 4 or more pics of 4.5" lift on 35's and one with 36's.
If yo have questions about needed mods that's fine but not asking for pics when we already have them.

Just make sure you bump stop front and rear. As for flex just make sure you have long travel shocks. Also I'd be willing to bet you will need to trim to help prevent rubbing so you don't tear up the fenders. Also you are going to need to regear to run a 35"+ tire, probably 4.56's or 4.88's.

i already posted im regearing i regearing to 4.88s and locking., i already hacked front and rear fenders...i want to see the amount of suspension travel i can expect with 4.5 and 35/36's based on the amount of bumpstop to keep from tires stopping due to being stuffed in fenders...

4.5 35s
I have 10" travel bilsteins. and a TNT long arm setup
3.5" rear packs with a 1.25" shackle, which totals a ~4.5" lift in back cuz the shackles are not 1.25" true lift.
the tires do not hit the front fenders...only hit the rears in extreme cases and has never been a big deal. could be/will be solved with an hours work

thanks man...so you have sufficient travel in rear it looks...im not gonna run long arm yet so i assume i will have good travel up front. i though about running shockless with limiting straps but im gonna just find some shocks off a larger lift. what gears you running?

10" shocks are about the norm for 4.5" lift kits
he is running 4.56's, but i would reccomend 4.88's or even a touch deeper if you plan on getting some stronger axles

you want more travel then do a long arm set up with limiting straps and shocks. i had some custom made here in CO and they are awesome. stock ca's on 35's seems sketchy

Def dont run shockless. You NEED shocks to get anywhere off road...not to mention its unsafe. And youll ruin your springs.

im not going long arm...i dont need it for now and im building that later when i do the rear 4 link...
they arent stock ca's neways i have the travel i want now i want to make sure i still can have sufficient travel with the 36 tsls i have compared to running 33s im sure the inch or two i lose with the 35s stuffed compared to the 36s wont hurt me at all
im going to extend bumpstops once i get the tires on and measure then. the shocks i got should have enough travel with the 35s. still wouldnt mind seein some more xjs with 35s on 4.5 flexin in the trails though....
