hey guys, my 89 laredo has OE fog lights, they still work, but one of the lenses is cracked to hell and the light bodies themselves are pretty badly rusted, causing rusty runoff water to stain the bumper. dont care too much about the rust issue, but since the cherokee's standard low beams are not too bright, id love more light, especially in bad weather.

i'd like to replace them with some aftermarket units, but im curious as to how you pull them off the bumper. they have rubber boots around the bases and i cant see exactly how theyre mounted. can i remove them without having to do anything too complicated (i.e. removing the bumper)? normally id just break out the tools and have a look but i have a busted wrist im nursing and i dont want to bother my buds with it until i have at least plan to get them off, LOL.

use a cut off weel or something, thats one way to avoid taking off the bumper, or try from under neith
