RE Tracbar Bracket with heim?

can i use a heim instead of a superflex joint on the RE1665 TB bracket? i have a new heim and dont want to spend more cash on a joint.

i'm sure you can, but i don't think the heim would be large enough. maybe a johnny joint, but a heim may be too narrow.
if it fits, it'll work. as long as there's enough clearance at full flex.
what's wrong with the superflex joint? they're easily rebuildable.

if you can make it work, then i don't see why you are asking this question.
you can get it in the bracket alright via the correct misalignment spacers , but the issue is making the thread match in the actual bar. not all heims are built alike

nothing is wrong with the sf joint, just didnt want to spend more money on one is all.

i was asking if it was ok to do that. i know i need spacers of some sort, was just wondering if it was safe.
