RE 4.5" pack + AAL = ???
I have had a set of 4.5" Rubicon Express leaf packs in the back of my jeep for 3 years now. They have sagged a bit, and I would like to get my 1" lift back with possibly a bit more load capability, so I am looking at an AAL for the pack. My question is, what type of AAL should I buy? The ones that are listed as 2-inch lift are specified for stock packs right? Will this give me any lift at all?? (other than the plate thicknes...) Should I look for a 3" lift AAL? I am going to put a long leaf in, not a short if I can help it. Would a simple 1" lift block be a better option? Any help or past experience would be appreciated, thanks.

An AAL will prolly boost it back to where they were new. But it'll ride harsher and won't last long. Some would recommend having them rearched by a local suspension shop.
I'd go with a lift shackle over a block and AAL any day.
Do you tow alot? That why you're looking for a bit more load cap?

I already have a RE 1.25" lift shackle installed, I guess I could go with a 2" shackle. I occasionally tow a utility trailer around for hauling wood, sometimes moving tractors, etc, just general moving of heavy crap on trailers. Any clue how much it will cost to have them re-arched?
