I had the same thing from the rear with about 4" lift. I took my aal off the other day which dropped the rear back down about 2" and it went away...so yes its probably a driveline angle issue. I'd throw a tcase drop on it. I think Rusty's has one for like $20.

A custom length CV driveshaft should do it

If you call tom's, I'm sure they could help custom fab
something for your unique situation.

I have a 2001 4WD that I put a modest 2" lift on, and I have what is obviously a driveshaft vibe from 30 to 35mph, but also a nasty sound coming from low and behind me when I let off the gas at higher speeds, sometimes when I put on light gas, and sometimes on bumps or coming out of mild turns at speed. It sounds really nasty, but after over half an hour with a droplight looking for the source I came up with nothing that looked like grinding.
TrekkerJmm: What are these "ears" you speak of? Does this apply to the later model slipyoke with the rubber boot?

I have the same driveshaft vibes between 30 and 35 mph. Mine didn't start till I went to 4.5" but I've heard the 2000-2001's are more prone to vibes from lifts.
The sound from the rear deff sounds like I driveline angle issue. Try shimming your rear end (both kriebz and Burns). That should help correct the angle.

Degree shims and t-case drop are on order. Now maybe I'll be able to stop modding (at least stop lifting) for a while and save up for the driveline improvements to avoid this once and for all.
I feel a little dumb; I went back and read the footnotes for the RE lift I bought and it basically said the same thing.
