I'm getting a RC controlarm drop bracket can I use stock control arms? Cause if not I'm just going to pop for the long arm upgrade

You can use either stock or aftermarket. Love mine and even better now with adju. uppers and lowers. The better ride quality increase was WAAAAY more than I expected. Not bad for 200 bucks.

In my opinion adjustable short arms with drop brackets are just as good as long arms. I run long arms (radius arms) and my roomate has drop brackets with adjustable arms and we both have about the same amount of lift. His control arms actually sit more level to the ground than mine do which makes the tires want to roll over obstacles more easily. I also notice no real difference in how they drive. If you already have the drop brackets I would say put em on and then get adjustables later on. I don't thing you will be dissapointed at all with the end result. Using short arms and drop brackets is a great way to piece together a lift where you can upgrade as you go rather than doing long arms where you have to do everything all at once.

running the drop brackets with the stock arms will be fine depending on the amount of lift. One thing to keep in mind tho is the stock arms are not very strong and with having them lowered with the brackets they will be more accessible to getting bent. I would highly reccomend getting some aftermarket lowers sooner rather than later, dont have to be adj nust stronger.

the stock control arms are fine, but as he said, they are a rock magnet and they could certainly be stronger.
I love the RC control arms, work great, strong and adjustable. As long as I'm using short arms they'll be RC short arms.
Long arms are another story though, staangs fab is the best bar none and thats what I'll be running when i get to that stage.

I agree if you are going to get long arms then you might just be wasting your money on the drop brackets. I opted for the drop brackets on my RC 4.5 X lift and I love em and their LCA are Beef.
