Everything that I saw on the RC site for part #7571 said it was for 4"-6" lift. I would think that it would work on a 3" lift but I just wanted to be sure.
Does anyone have a measurment of this trac bar (RC #7571) from the stud to the center of the bushing with the adjustment adjusted as short as possible?
That would really help!!Thanks!!!
If you don't need a double sheer, this is a beefy piece. And even if the ball joint does where out. I bet the parts store would be able to find one that works. And it's not near as goofy looking as the stock one, with that weird bend the thing has. I was disappointed at first, 'cause it wasn't double sheer, but after looking at it and realizing how cheap it was. It's pretty nice.
Mine at it's shortest length is about 32" give a little. For the money it's pretty nice.

This looks like an awesome deal if you don't need a drop bracket or a double shear bar. For you guys with smaller lifts, I was also wondering if it would work for my application (planning to lift my XJ 3-3-5."), so I gave Rough County a call. They said it will work fine for a 3" lift. Sweet!
This should be perfect for my use, a bit beefier than stock and adjustable is just what I need. The fact that it uses a balljoint end is fine with me, if it wears out eventually it should be a cheap and easy part to replace as said above. Even though I'm doing a smaller lift I think this will be a nice extra to have. I picked up some RC swaybar discos for $40 a couple weeks back and was impressed with the quality.
Best part of all, I'm petty sure my stock track bar is worn out, and $51 is cheaper than a stock replacement!

Ok, put mine on today, the stock one was TOAST. The RC piece is WAY nicer than the stock one, it's beefier, and has a better angle.
It is about an inch to long for a 3" lift though. But I plan on going to about 4.5-5" of lift in the future. But it is so much better than the factory piece. I am really happy with it.
I should have taken a comparison picture, but was in a poorly heated garage covered in grease, snow and water. haha.
