Thanks BotakBeng! i will definitely try that tomorrow on the drivers side, and the link was excellent, that seems like it will work great! BUT i still dont know what to do for the bolt that i cut flush to the frame. I saw a write up that someone cut part of the frame box out to access the other side of the bolt in the frame. i may have to do that if i cant get a nut welded to the flush side of the frame

Not quite understanding bro....

1) Broken rear shock mount are really easy to remove, the weld nuts are weld to sheet metal. They will break off easily.

2) If you have cut the rear spring bolts and they are flushed with the frame......you are f jk. Just more work as it is a big *** nut.
I can't find the write-up but i remember the way they did it was drill and tap.

DO NOT attempt to remove the leaf spring bolt with an EZout!

GL.

On my shock bolts I cut holes in the floor of the hatch to get them out . Replaced with new hardware and rivet and glued on new sheet metal.

That was easiest for me with lack of proper tools.

i appreciate all the help guys! i finished the rear tonight... I heated up the weld nut and smashed it out with a hammer, but i had to cut a small piece of the leaf spring frame mount box out to remove it and install a new nut. I went to the hardware store and got new hardware and i put loctite on the new stuff. Installed it and welded it all back together, cleaned up the welds and painted it. Here are a couple pics

For my next problem... Anyone have trouble getting the bolts out of the control arms at the frame? The axle bolts came out no problem but the frame ones wont budge. I got the nut off easily, I am assuming that the bolt is stuck in the sleeve inside of the bushing. Any tips? I need this lift finished tomorrow because i have an important meeting and it is supposed to rain so i cant ride my motorcycle anymore.

Not sure if this will help but Karnage Offroad has a great fix for the rear shock mount problem for anyone that has the same problem in the future.
