Hopefully y'all can help me out. My jeep produces this crappy noise when I am on the highway. It pretty much goes away when I press the gas pedal and then comes back when it is coasting. Any idea what this is? Have a listen. Thanks.

 

You need to look at your rear u-joints.

Checked the u-joints and they seemed fine. I took the sway bar off and drove it, still had the same noise. I put new sway bar and end link bushings on and after putting the bar back on the noise went away for the most part. Is this normal? Or should I be worried about some other underlying problem? Still perplexed...

 

When I ran a 3.5 inch lift and a stock track bar I had a rattle until I replaced it with an adjustable track bar. One point I had a rattle sound that came from near my engine and that was the motor mounts
