Hey guys--I've got a 1987 Cherokee Chief (manual transmission) and I've noticed there is a rattling/vibration that has started consistently occurring around 2800 RPM's, regardless of the gear I'm using.

Anyone else experienced this with advice on what to troubleshoot to stop the vibration?

 

Where does it sound like it's coming from?

 

Are you getting any wierd vibes on your shifter...could be your throw out bearing going bad. Time for noggin pokin to see where it's coming from

 

Throw out bearing was my first thought.
