Rattle can bed liner
I'm prepping my front and rear bumpers for a spray, was thinking of doing a quickie bed line spray with some rustoleum rattle can bedliner. Anyone use this stuff? How did it turn out/hold up?

I used it on my front bumper I built, it turned out really well. Only problem I encountered is if sprayed too thick on a vertical surface it will run and its a pain to clean up the runs. If your shooting it on with the bumpers on the Jeep apply a bunch of thin coats to avoid runs.

Sweet man, that really does look good. And your front bumper looks almost identical to mine, that ones next Any particular brand you used? How's it holding up, taken any abuse yet?

I used the Rustoleum, its holding up well to everyday use. It has'nt been trail tested yet but seems to have adhered pretty well, my final sand coat was with 180 grit, that really gave it something to grab on to. Most my running is on the rocks so if it takes a hit it really wont matter what the coating is it's going to get marred up. Thats why I chose the rattle can, should be easy to touch her back up. Good luck man, and show us some pics when your done!

Rattle can bedliner
I used the duplicolor bedliner for my front grill, but it seems to lack in durability even with proper prep work.
That being said, I did both bumpers, front shroud, rocker panels and fender flares in Herculiner and it turned out great. The prep work took the most time but I'm glad I did because nothing seems to be able to put a dent in it. I'd highly recommend it if you want an aggressive look
Another note, if you are looking for a flat, non textured look, the Rustoleum Hammered line is really cool looking and if you prime it first, stays very well. Did my hitch in that.

I have used the sprayone bedliner on my bumpers, rockers, floor, pushbar and underneath. The stuff works great and in the case of my bumpers, I painted overtop and color matched my bumpers. The only problem I've found is if you don't prep the surface well it won't stick, it will start to chip and flake almost immediately

I used this on my front bumper. First I used gray primer and then did 3 coats of liner. My bumper wasn't mounted on the Jeep though. I tested it by pushing a shopping cart for like 100 feet or so and it didn't do any damages. I would still like to do another coat before the winter though.

prep work
Like everyone has said, prep work is key to this stuff.
I may have went to the extremes, but I took off the bumpers, grille, grille shround(an removed all the lights), bumper covers and fender flares.
then i hit it with prep-sol and wax remover so i wouldn't just be taking off way layers. Put a grey coarse scotch pad on a drill attachment and went over everything, including the rocker panels, up to the trim on the sides, and the door edges on the inside. This seems to scuff perfectly, then some 120 grit wet sand close to the masking lines and hard to reach areas.
Another coat of wax remover/prepsol(make sure you allow it time to dry off) Coating it was a breeze. If you are using a roller for a rougher texture, use the supplied one. Tried with foam and other kinds but they cause the grit to bunch up. The cellular design helps place the grit evenly. Go in one direction for first coat, allow to dry 3 hours minimum, then hit it in the other direction.
Pictures coming soon.
