Random miss at 2500rpm and below
Think it's time for a tune up guys but the strange thing is it seems to not be lacking any power at all. It sounds like a bunch of fire crackers going off if I accelerate steady at lower rpm with the exhaust I currently have on it. I'm thinking plugs, wires, cap and rotor for starts but we'll see if it needs anything else. I run seafoam through it religiously and replaced the fuel filter a few months ago so I think it's definately the electrical side of the equation causing the miss. *** always, any input would be appreciated

Definitely start with a tune up. If it hasnt been done since you got the car, it's definitely time. Great reassurance for the price of the parts.
Also clean the TB and IAC if you haven't already done so

I have a CAI with a cleanable air filter and I run the intake cleaner seafoam as well (which helped out with an ilde problem it had when I first got it) but it for sure hasn't had a tune up in several year considering it sat in some guy's yard for a good 2 years and I did literally nothing to it but put gas in it and change the oil.

I would say it's time for a tune up. Since you have a CAI, I would recommend cleaning out the filter if it hasn't been done in a while.

Sorry guys I've been busy swapping the auto for a 6 speed in my T/A and haven't really had time for the Jeep. Just had to pull a buddy out of his own front yard and I noted a pretty dead miss at all RPMs now. The CEL finally came on and said cylinder 6 missfire detected. I had been running the hell out of it prior to the miss starting up so it's possible I broke the spark plug. I'll pull the plug out of #6 tomorrow and have a look

I did one plug and wire at a time so I didn't have to know the firing order. It got progressively worse, not just a fine one minute, F'ed the next. It started smoothing out around 2500rpm then it moved to around 4000 then it just became a dead miss period at all RPMs. I unplugged the #6 injector and no difference whatsoever

Delcos gapped at .35. Nothing changed after changing the parts, just got progressively worse over a couple of hours. Just haven't had time till now to post about it cuz I've been working on 3 other projects at once

I'd look into that injector on cyl #6. Try moving it to another cyl and see if the misfire follows There have been a few threads lately about checking to see if its working at all (the kind of test where you should have a fire extinguisher handy!) Sounds like you could give that a go.
Also sounds like time for an upgrade!

Yeah it's .035. I unplugged another injector and the missfire code came up for that cylinder as well so I think it is an injector. That and #6 doesn't click. 703s are $25 a piece on ebay so yeah time for an upgrade
