If you had a gauge I would chance it but the lights are not reliable at all... The egg works sometimes ... Just get it towed find a friend with aaa and have them drive to we're you are and have it towed home after you change the rad also look into doing a cluster swap

I have never tried the egg. I've heard of it. I have tried the pepper and it did work for me. It got me home. But once I did get home I did a complete cooling system flush. It all depends on the leak and where it is leaking.

You have no gauges its not safe... Once the light comes on it's to late the damage is done ...

Bars leaks rhizex pellets will work. Just stop periodically to check coolant level. Even a gauge won't read if you lose all the coolant so even if you try the egg or pepper, stop and check the coolant level every 5-10 miles or so.

Bars leak can destroy your water pump the stuff is bad and hard to flush out and the gauge will spike if you lose all your coolant FYI... It's not a good idea to drive...

Bars leaks will not destroy your water pump. And your coolant temp sensor will not read correctly without liquid present.

How would putting a solid not clog your water pump? That suppose to stop leaks not cause problems in the long run? It doesn't need liquid to work it would read the hot air that takes the place of the coolant which will cause a temp spike on the gauge .... It's pretty simple... The safest thing for the op to do is not drive it he has no gauges... And checking every 10 miles to see of your jeep has coolant is crazy... The leak is just going to get worse... The hotter the motor gets which will make it leak faster when it builds pressure... He has. 50 mile drive its not like going for a cruise around town... FYI I have seen bars leak destoty a coolant system just because they make it doesn't mean you should use it or it is a good product it cause more damage in the long run...

Bar's Stop Leak in the Siver bottle works well for many leaks. I ran it in my E350 Ford with the 7.3 diesel for leaking head gaskets for over 300,000 miles. My rad got change a few years ago and wasn't clogged. My water pump never had any trouble and it was a toasty warm heater.
You need to have a clean cooling system and one that is not full of rust etc.
I have used bars in the silver bottle for 40+ year in many vehicles I have owned and have NEVER had problems with the product. You use it according to directions, i.e. 10 oz per 6 gallons etc. You don't dump in 10 bottles trying to clog a 1/2" dia hole.
